Resumen:
Expositor invitador: This paper exposes Walter Benjamin´s crtical reception of Martin Heidegger´s work and the main dilemma of historical thoght pointed out in Passagen-Werk. By reconsidering their early approaches to the essential opposition betwenn time for tragedy and time for Trauerspiel and confronts both forms of temporality with Benjamin´s own idea of messianic time. In the other hand, it compares Heidegger´s reflections on the essence of art as foundation of a new historical beggining and Benjamin´s thesis on technical reproduction as destruction of tradition and it makes some remarks on the political implications of avant-garde and aestheticism during the first three decades of the last century. Finally, it opposes Heidegger´s notion of "historicity" and Benjamin´s messianic hermeneutic in order to explain the differences between their respective conceptions of origin and historical temporality.
