Resumen:
Thubunaea eleodori sp. nov. is described fromthe stomach of Liolaemus eleodori (Sauria: Liolaemidae)from San Guillermo National Park, Province of San Juan,Argentina. T. eleodori is most similar to those specieslacking spicules, T. cnemidophorus, T. fitsimonsi,T. parkeri, T. schukurovi, and T. smogorzhewskii. T.eleodori is separated from these species based on thepapilla pattern. T. eleodori has 12 pedunculate papillaeand 14 sessile papillae, T. smogorzhewskii lacks pedunculatepapillae, T. fitsimonsi and T. parkeri lack sessilepapillae, and T. cnemidophorus has14?16 pedunculatepapillae and 12 sessile papillae. T. eleodori representsthe first member of the genus to be reported fromArgentina.
