Resumen:
INTRODUCTION. Memory-like NK (NKm) cells, present in individuals seropositive forcytomegalovirus (HCMV+), exhibit characteristics to be exploited in monoclonal antibody(mAb)-therapy directed against tumor antigens, mainly their amplified production of cytokinesand proliferation in response to stimulation through CD16 receptor.OBJECTIVES. To evaluate in vitro the functionality of NKm cells from HD against TNBC cellsopsonized with IgG1 isotype mAbs. To analyze the frequency, phenotype and functionality ofthis subpopulation in patients with BC.RESULTS. BC patients presented a NKγ¯ subpopulation in about half ofthe HCMV+ individuals with phenotypic characteristics similarto those previously described in these cells in HD: lowerexpression of NKp30 and CD161, and higher of NKG2C andCD85j, with respect to NKγ+ cells. *p
