AbstractThe following work show results from geoarchaeological studies oriented to understand the Holocene landscape evolution for "El Bolsón" Valley (Belén, Catamarca Province), in order to contribute to a general knowledge of environmental processes for this region. The geological, geomorphologic and archaeological data integration in this work comprises two main objectives. First, to achieve certain precisions about a chronological frame for environment change processes at a local scale. Second, it seeks to link archaeological knowledge about social processes that took place in the Late Holocene with environment dynamics
