Resumen:
The decidualization program involves phenotype and funtional changes on endometrial cells that will facilitate the attachment and
invasion of the blastocyst. This process involves the modulation of different mediators such as cytokines, chemokines and growth
factors. Particularlly, the vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is a neuropeptide produced by endometrial stromal cells among
others, and displays multiple target circuits that allow immunetolerance. Here, we investigated VIP contribution to the
decidualization program and whether this process modulates dendritic cells (DC) profile. We differenciated human endometrial
stromal cell line (hESC) in the presence of VIP (10
-7M) or with medroxiprogesterone (MPA) and dbcAMP (Positive control) during
8d. The decidualization performed with MPA+dbcAMP increased VIP expression (by RT-PCR) and secretion (by ELISA). When the
decidualization was induced by VIP, we observed an increase IGFBP1, PRL and KLF13/KLF9 ratio in a concentration-dependent
manner; accompained by and increase in the expression of IL-8 and SDF1, both markers of receptive endometrium (p
