Resumen:
This report contains the main results of the empirical research carried out for the project ?Seeking Justice: Migration, informality and political participation in Buenos Aires?. The project was funded by a seedcorn fund of the research network ?cities@manchester? of the School of Environment and Development, University of Manchester. The material presented here comes from 18 interviews conducted in the city of Buenos Aires between April and May 2013. The interviewees included:   -          5 interviews with organisations representing migrants at the city level; -          3 interviews with officials of the city?s government; and -          10 interviews with organisations in the villas (shantytowns) 21/24, 1-11-14 and 20 (4 in villa 21/24 and in villa 20, and 2 in villa 1-11-14).   A series of dominant themes emerged during the conduction of the interviews and the visits to the villas. These themes are the subtitles type 2 and 3 in this report; therefore the information is organised in line with these. Under each of the subtitles, both potentially citable quotes and impressions/reflections are included.
