Resumen:
It is important to determine the feeding preference of mosquitoes, in order to identify their role as vectors for pathogens. Species identified belonging to male mosquitoes captured in 3 localities of the province of Chaco is presented here. The sites showed different degrees of alteration caused by human activities. One site is tocated within the h especie of Resistencia city; the second one (Monte Alto) is near a h especi with agricultural and cattle activity (10 km from Resistencia) and third one (K.M31) is located aride a national higway and retains all the characteristies of virginal forest. Mosquitoes were captured ussing 4 brass traps with animal bait, two with birds (chicken) and 2 with mammals (rabbit); in Monte Alto they were also capture with human bait. h especies identified in Resistencia are: Culex chidesteri, Culex quinquefasciatus, Cx. Spp.  Captured with chicken and rabbit trap, and Psorophora cyanescens, collected with rabbit trap; In Monte Alto area Anopheles triannulatus, Ochlerotatus stigmaticus, Cx. Maxi, Cx. Bidens, Cx. Chidesteri, Cx. Sp., Mansonia titllans, Ma. Indubitans, Och. Scapularis, Psorophora cingulata, Ps.ferox and Wyeomyia sp. Were found with the 3 baits; An. Albitarsis, An. Neomaculipalpus and Oc. Albifasciatus were collected only with human bait; Aedeomya squamipennis  only with chicken; Oc. Fulvus, Ps. Ciliata, Ps.  Pallescens, Ps. Varinervis  and Wy. Mulhensi with rabbit trap, Oc. Hastatus oligopistus  in chicken and rabbit trap and Ma. Humeralis, Ps. Ciliata, Ps. Albigenu varipes, Ps. Cyanescens, Coquilleíidia nigricans  with rabbit and human baits. In  Km. 31: Ad. Squamipennis. An. Triannulatus, Cq. Nigricans, Cx. Lahillei  and  Ps. Cyanescens  were captured with chicken;,  Cx. Chidesteri, Cx. Spp., Ma. Titillans, Oc. Fulvus, Oc. Hastatus- oligopistus, Oc. Scapularis, Oc. Stigmaticus, Ps. Albigenu varipes, Ps. Cingulata, Ps.ferox and Wy. Sp., with chicken and rabbit traps and  Oc. Albifasciatus  was collected only with rabbit trap.
