Many-particle entanglement in ultracold Fermi gases

Resumen:
Most of the works dealing with Bose-Einstein condensates (BEC) focus on spin squeezing states of ultracold bosonic atoms for creation and char- acterization of entanglement [1, 2]. Here, we use an ansatz of composite bosons to quantify the many-particle entanglement between two molec- ular BECs generated by splitting an ultracold in- teracting Fermi gas. Projecting on a fixed num- ber of particle, such entanglement can then be ap- plied to standard quantum information tasks. We also show that entanglement manifests in form of spin squeezing and sub-shot noise metrological precision can be reached with ultracold interact- ing Fermi gases. Then we propose a new form of molecular interferometers which could be experi- mentally tested. Our results are valid from few to many fermion pairs in the strong binding regime kF a < 1.
