El trabajo publicado es un poster en la escuela https://www.ias.edu/pitp/pitp-2023-detailsWe present a novel approach in the characterization of phases of gauge theories in terms of Entropic Order Parameters (EOP). Our EOP do not require a Lagrangian formulation of the theory and are defined by exploiting ambiguities in the algebra-region map that appear in gauge theories for ring-like regions. Albeit a direct computation of the EOP is complicated, we are able to provide reasonably tight upper and lower bounds in terms of quantities related solely to the non-local operators in the theory i.e. Wilson and t´Hooft loops. In our approach, these loop operators must be carefully defined so that they have a finite width, becoming proper operators of the Hilbert space. This "fattening" of loop operators in non-Abelian gauge theories can be thought of as an interesting problem on its own and can be also taken as a main feat of this work. Based on: arXiv:2110.02980
