Resumen:
Excess molar volume, viscosity deviation, and refractive index deviation for formamide (F) + formic acid (FA)(or acetic acid (AA), or propionic acid (PA)) systems at 25, 30, 35, and 40 C were calculated from binary experimental results previously reported [A.M. Cases, A.C. Gómez Marigliano, C.M. Bonatti and H.N. Sólimo (2001). J. Chem. Eng. Data, 46, 712.] over the whole mole fraction range. Each excess property was fitted to a Redlich?Kister type equation using least squares in order to obtain their dependence with concentration and temperature. The presence of intermolecular association complexes was inferred from the viscosity deviation isotherms, which have the following stoichiometric relations: F: FA; F: AA; F: PA.
