Resumen:
We present a fast field-cycling MRI relaxometer developed in our Lab [1]. MRI capabilitiesin a field-cycling apparatus enables localized relaxometry studies in heterogeneoussamples, and the possibility to produce MR images weighted at low magnetic fields (a fewmT or lower) in samples showing combined high and low T1 dispersions and shortrelaxation times at low-fields (a few milliseconds). The designed instrument is of potentialuse in smalls animals, and particularly suitable for the design of relaxation-enhancingcontrasts agents and magnetic localized hyperthermia, within other non-biomedicalapplications. We show general details of the hardware and some preliminary results.
