The scientific goal of these three research groups joined in the Investment/Accompagnement project DYNAVO is to study magnetization dynamics on the picosecond time scale by time resolved x-ray microscopy. The goal is to achieve picosecond temporal resolution and nanometer spatial resolution, in order to study the magnetization dynamics in hard magnetic materials. The support from CNano granted in 2009 will enable the three groups to upgrade optimize the already existing equipment for sample growth at the LCPMR, sample nanostructuring at the CSNSM and time resolved x-ray microscopy at SOLEIL.
