Resumen:
-INTRODUCTION: Lignocellulosic materials represent one of the most promising sources of renewable raw material under the bioeconomy, giving useful biobased chemicals and fuels, due to their low economic value and high availability [1]. Soy is one of the most important raw material in the word, being Brazil, USA and Argentina the main producers. The soybean hull (SH) is a by-product that represents between 2-8% of the total weight of the grain, and that stands out for its high cellulose content (30-50%) and low lignin content (0.2-10%), both ideal qualities for fermentable sugar recovery processes. In the present work, we focused on the effect of the initial load of SH on glucose recovery after thermochemical conditioning processes using water (autohydrolysis) and sulfuric acid (acid hydrolysis) as catalysts.-MATERIALS AND METHODS: The SH conditioning (5, 10 and 15 %w/v) was performed at 121°C for 1 hour, using 2.5% w/v H2SO4 (pH
