Programs for rural education in the north of the province of Entre Ríos (Argentina, 1978-2018)

The articleaims to examine the changes and permanencies as well as the coexistence andoverlaps between the main programs oriented to rural education that wereimplemented in the Argentine province of Entre Ríos and especially in thenorth, during four decades during which different governments, both dictatorialand democratic, succeeded each other (1978-2018). For this purpose, weconsulted national and provincial regulations, documents and records preparedwithin the framework of the different programs studied, as well as recoveringinterviews and part of the previous ethnographic field work. Throughout thework, we distinguished five programs that, to a greater or lesser extent,depending on the case, have been overlapping both in terms of the start and endtimes, as well as the actors who participated in them. We showed that theirfundamental objectives and their organization have been built in an articulatedway.
