Seminal plasma (SP) has several proteins with different molecular weight which have been involved in the function,transit and survival of spermatozoa within the female reproductive tract (Druart et al, 2013). The addition of SP tosperm following cryopreservation increased post-thawed motility and fertility in ram, enhanced post-thawed spermfunction and improved AI fertility (Maddison et al., 2014). The use of ram spermatozoa with SP before freezing protectsthem from freezing damage (Leahy et al., 2010).
