Disputes about the dominant epidemiological paradigm (Brown et al. 2001, Zavetoski et al. 2002), scientific principles behind environmental legislation as well as the role of science and its relationship with the corporate world gained centrality in the stage of GMO debate. This paper seeks to shed light on these issues.
