Resumen:
This research paper examines the presence of regional supply chain at subnational level, focusing on Argentina and specifically the province of Santa Fe. The study aims to assess the effectiveness of methods for studying the shapes of value chains at a subnational level, the pertinent connections, and the best ways to formulate demand and supply policies at the subnational level in Argentina.Using a regional Input-Output Matrix, the research analyzes value chains in industries like agriculture and manufacturing. The findings highlight strategic opportunities for development, particularly in the manufacturing sector, despite the province´s limited industrial network. The study contributes to a better understanding of regional economic dynamics and demonstrates the potential of innovative methodologies to overcome data limitations.
