Sorites, Curry and omega inconsistency

In this talk, we propose two new approaches for dealing with semantic and vague vocabulary, based on Interval-Type-2 Fuzzy Logic: T2 and T2*. Firstly, we show that these theories have several advantages over the Lukasiewicz approach. Secondly, we prove a limitative result for T2: the theory is omega-inconsistent. Finally, we show that T2*avoids the usual proof of omega-inconsistency, becoming our best theory.
