Resumen:
Results associated with the studues of the electroanalytical properties of some mycotoxins, such as: alternariol, alternariol mono methyl ether, altertoxin-I and altenuene (from Alternaria alternate genus), ochratoxin A, patulin and citrinin (Aspergillus and Penicillium genera)and zearalenone and deoxynivalenol (Fusarium genus)carried out by our research group throughout the past several years are shown. Studies were performed on electrodes of different materials, both bare and modified with organic (thiols)and bioorganic compounds (enzymes, antibodies), as well as multi walled carbon nanotubes. The adsorption of most of these mycotoxins on the surface of the electrodes are of a different nature; and the possibilities of they analytical applications, using pulse voltammetric techniques coupled to adsorptive stripping, are discussed. Results on the fundamentals aspect of biomolecules immobilization (enzymes and antibodies)on convenient electrochemical transducers are also given. Therefore, also shown are the developmental and analytical applications of these devices for the sensible and selective determination of mycotoxins, the toxic secondary metabolites of interest for the agroalimentary system.
