Resumen:
In this work, we present a study of the low temperature phases in the extended Heisenberg model in the bilayer honeycomb lattice. We first identify two highly frustrated points, where the system can be understood as the sum of elementary plaquettes with a significant number of spins. Focusing on highly symmetric lines in parameter space, where interlayer and intralayer couplings are equal, we show that between these two points there are highly degenerate phases, and discuss the Hamiltonian in terms of the elementary plaquettes from the highly frustrated points. Combining the Luttinger-Tisza approximation and Monte Carlo simulations, we identify different classical spin-liquids and discuss the emergent low temperaturephenomena, such as entropic state selection.
