Hdrotratamiento de etanol. Influencia de la temperatura de reacción en le estabilidad del catalizador gammaFe2O3

Abstract Bulk g-Fe2O3 was sinthetized using Fe (III) hydroacetate as an intermediate compound during the preparation step. The solid was used as catalyst in the ethanol hydrotreatment carried out at three reaction temperatures lesding to a high H2 and acetone production. The fresh and used catalyst was characterized by XRD, BET and Mössbauer spectroscopy. The activity and selectivity measurements were performed in a fixed bed reactor. The reactants (ethanol and water in a 1-9 molar ratio) were introduced by a dosing pump.
