Resumen:
In our laboratory, we have demonstrated recently that Mössbauer spectroscopy has been essential to advance in studies on Fe supported catalysts specially synthesized to investigate the "structure sensitivity" effect in the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. To characterize appropriately the Fe species involved over the catalytic reaction without changing the working atmosphere, we have designed an improved cell that allows keeping the samples in the same atmosphere of the catalytic reaction when measured at low temperatures in a helium closed-cycle refrigerator. In this work, we describe the details of the new cell and, as an example of its utility, we present the results obtained with a system of 3 nm particle size.
