Resumen:
This paper presents the initial findings of a research project that explores the spatial dimension of the process of disorganization/reorganization of the working class in Argentina since the consolidation of neoliberal hegemony. It focuses on a particular territorial and port formation: the Polo Oleaginoso del Gran Rosario, Rosario Oilseed Hub, in the context of agro-export value chains. Empirically, the research is situated in the southern area of the Polo Oleaginoso del Gran Rosario. In this paper, we present a first approach to the socio-spatial dynamic generated by the installation of a high- capacity oilseed crushing plant belonging to one of the main global corporations in the agribusiness sector, C group. This process took place between 2003 and 2007, with the construction of two oilseeds processing plants, crushing and biodiesel, and a port terminal, and the acquisition of a nearby port terminal.
