Resumen:
A magnetofabric study was carried out on the Mississippian lamprophyric dikes locatedin the Cuesta de Miranda area and the Cosme creek, in the Famatina System, provinceof La Rioja, Argentina. The dikes corresponding to the Cuesta de Miranda area presenta K1 axis in a subvertical position, meanwhile in the Cosme creek the K1 axis is tiltedabout 45° towards the SE and parallel to the dikes of this area. This arrangement of themaximum axes of anisotropy is interpreted as indicating that the dikes were feededsubvertically and pointing to a magmatic source located near the Cuesta de Miradaarea, meanwhile an upward flow of magma towards the NW generated the dikes of theCosme creek.
