Resumen:
Recognizing the critical importance of the technological dimension in the processes of social change, this work focuses on the production of inputs for the theoretical reflection of social innovation processes related to public drug production; and a presentation of a socio-technical analysis for "Technologies for Social Inclusion". Starting from the analysis of a public drug production unit (DPU) in Argentina, we can argue that: Unlike a traditional analysis are focused on ?proper working? of a technology, in order to measure effectiveness and efficiency, we have sought to prove that the analysis of social technologies requires a wider view of technological and social dimensions. In matters of public drug production policy, we could say that the policy is not only generated by governmental and legislative bodies but also by the actions of a heterogeneous network of actors and actants, i.e., social public policy is not only the exercise of a vertical and centralized will, but the result of the alignment and coordination of a diverse set of elements that are horizontally linked. Finally, we mention some theoretical and methodological conclusions derived from the analysis and which constitute key inputs for the generation of public policies oriented to social innovative dynamics.
