Resumen:
The production ofurban space through resettlement policies is closely connected to theproduction of certain political subjectivities and the displacement or erasure ofothers. This chapter illustrates how urban resettlement influences politicalsubjectivities and leads to the formation of new identities across urban space. An analysis of the way in which the resettlement of a marginalised urbanpopulation group in Córdoba, Argentina throughthe ?Mi Casa, Mi Vida? housing policyaffected their lived experiences by stimulating consumption shows that statehousing policies can give rise to neoliberal subjectivities feeding thecapitalist system.  Urban residentsformerly governed as citizens are recast as hybrid ?homeowners-consumers? bymaking them ?minimum consumers? through the provision of basic housing andservices. The research shows that the marginalised ?poor? are the target of newidentity formation outcomes through influencing subjectivities by means of plannedresettlement policies
