This presentation gives an introduction to the 3-year Sheep Parasite Research Project currently taking place that aims to monitor the levels of gastrointestinal nematodes in organic flocks and to study farm management practices that can be used to minimize parasite burdens. The presentation deals with the background for the study, its methodology, clinical parameters used, the location of the 32 farms in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec, and the description of all flocks participating in the study.
