Resumen:
The absence of quality control (QC) systems is a major obstacle for comparative analyses of genome-wide profiles generated by next generation sequencing (NGS). Here we present a bioinformatics-based approach that associates global and local QC indicators to virtually any NGS profile. This QC analysis was used to certify more than 1,600 publicly available profiles and create a database of reference QC indicators for data mining and profile comparison.
