Resumen:
This work, in the debate on the long-term dynamics of global capitalism, is on the side of the rupture thesis that posits the passage of industrial capitalism towards a new historical system of accumulation. Thus, an informational or cognitive logic arises that doesn?t replace the industrial logic but overlaps it and its conditions, as it is not a step that erases the previous. This paper examines the role of knowledge in the process of valorization as fundamental to understanding the historical break in the accumulation process over which is founded a new capitalism. We propose a historical reading along two complementary axes: first, the relationship between work and means of production and, secondly, the appropriation problem of the innovation rent.
