Modeling Student Response Times: The Impact of Clarification Requests during the Dialogue

In this paper we investigate the task ofmodeling how long it would take a studentto respond to a tutor question during a tu-toring dialogue. We explore several strong baselinesto tackle this task. Also, we measure theimpact of the use of clarification request indialogue time response during the interac-tion between tutor and student in the sys-tem. Then, build a feature com-bination which outperform the state of the art.
