Resumen:
The main objetive of my work aims to explain the identity of some Jews families who called themselves progressive and describe their educational proposal, developed by Argentinan institutions among the thirties to the late sixties of during the twenthiet century. Like others inmigrants, most of them italians and spanish people, jewish arrived mainly from what is was the Russian Empire, before the First World War, and after converted in Poland, Ucrania, Litheuania, and others countries from the east side of Europe. Anyway Jewish from Germany, France and even Turquish and another musli countries came To Argentina beetwen the end of nintheen century and the beginnig of the Second Word War.In summary, what I want to explain is as jewish people come from differents parts, with different interest and differents economical possition and crafts, they had different customs, different lenguages in some cases, and differents points of view about religion and political ideas. Anyway, most of them spoke a language called: Yiddish. With sounds very similars to the German, but written with Hebrew characters. I dedicated my research to those ones who were secular and joined or admired the Communist Party. They participated in socio-cultural, educational and sporting institutions that adhered to Idisher Cultur Farband (ICUF). There were almost 40 institutions or more in Buenos Aires, La Plata, Cordoba, Sta Fe Rosario, Mendoza and even in Montevideo, Sao Pablo y Rìo de Janeiro. The principal activities for them, were the idish school and others recreational activities for children and teenagers. There still have a famous colony for children`s holydays, founded by activists with an educational profile linked with a set of ideas around a jewish cultural heritage, very secular; political ideas from the marxism thougth, and a huge desire to be integrated, as other colectivities, in the new land, So, I analyze this identity, that I called ICUFISTA
