Resumen:
A paleothermal analysis of the Ischigualasto extensional basin (Triassic halfgraben in La Rioja, Argentina) wascarried out in order to establish its history of subsidence and exhumation, and the relative influence of theheating processes that took place therein. This allows estimating the moment in which the potentially sourcerock intervals would have reached the hydrocarbon generation window. To determine the maximumtemperatures reached during burial, organic and inorganic indicators were used (%Ro, DRX in the clay fractionand U/Pb fission tracks in apatites). Also, thermochronology was carried out in order to elucidate thetrajectory of exhumation. The software used for thermal modeling was Petromod and Hefty.
