Resumen:
A model is proposed for the Lithium Sulfur battery within confined nanopores according to the Quasi-Solid-State reaction mechanism, and validated against an experimental discharge curve. The model reproduces quantitatively the discharge curve, showing a change of slope at 400 mAh/g, consistent with the reduction of Li2S2 into Li2S. A sensitivity analysis is performed, with transport resistivities of solid phases having the most important effect on cell capacity.
