Ceratomyxa elegans Jameson, 1929 (Myxozoa: Ceratomyxidae) parásitos de peces batracoididos en el Mar Argentino

Resumen:
Two new hosts and a new geographical records of Ceratomyxa elegans were described: Porychthis porosissimus and Triathalassothia argentina from the Bahía Blanca estuary and San Matías gulf, Argentina. The species seems to be host-specific of batrachoidiform fishes. Morphological aspects of the species are described and a new location into the host is reported by the first time. Data on prevalence are given and discussed.
