Resumen:
Abstract The following paper exposes the results about the provisioning strategies of lithic raw materials at Maripe Cave site (province of Santa Cruz, Argentina). The archaeological sequence represents different moments of human occupation at the cave and in the study area, reflecting different lithic technologies. The morpho-typological analysis of the recovered lithic cores contributes to the knowledge about the strategies related to obtaining and provisioning of lithic raw materials used for artifacts production. The analysis on lithic cores and others materials from this site contributed to the determination of different raw materials. This allowed analyzing trends in selection and provisioning processes making possible to formulate interpretations about the mobility strategies employed by groups that inhabited the central plateau of Santa Cruz since early times.
