Resumen:
Poster Presentation:The stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT) is one of the most modern techniques for the cancer treatment. It use high dose gradient with a great accuracy which improves the protection of adjacent tissues. The complexity of this technique requires verification of planned dose distribution for each field of the treatment. This verification in most case is carried out with equipment of diodes arrays that use mathematical algorithm to obtain 3D dose distributions. In this work was study the measurement of dose distribution for a SBRT treatment plan using a polymer gel dosimeter that are inherently threedimensional. For that purpose were manufactured two dosimeters in cubes of 1 L. One of these dosimeters was used to dosimetric system calibration and the other was used to irradiated with same conditions of treatment plan. Next, dosimeters were reading by magnetic resonance imaging and after a image processing with Matlab software was obtain a 3D dose distribution. Then, dose distribution of the treatment planning system and polymer gel dosimeter were compared by 3D gamma index test with parameter of 3mm and 2%. Results show 94% of the analyzed points passed the test. Therefore, was obtain a verification of SBRT planning 100 percent 3D.
