Resumen:
Accurate modelling of triggering and propagation of fast catastrophic landslides depends on the accuracy of the models used. In some cases, simplified analysis methods such as limit equilibrium can be used, but in many others it is fundamental to apply (i) a mathematical model describing the coupling between skeleton and pore fluids, (ii) constitutive and rheological models describing material behaviour as accurately as possible, and (iii) a numerical model implementing the mathematical and the constitutive/rheological model. This paper deals with fluidized landslides, and it will focus on the constitutive and rheological models recently developed by the authors.
