Resumen:
The components of binary systems form from the same gas cloud at the same time and, hence, they share the initial chemical composition. Thus, binary systems are ideal laboratories to test how planetary formation, and/or other astrophysical processes (e.g., atomic diffusion), might influence the stellar composition. Here, we present high-precision stellar parameters and detailed chemical abundances of the HD 202772 planet-hosting wide binary system (Wang et al. 2019). Component A hosts a transiting gas giant planet, while no planet has been reported yet around component B. In addition, we used our precise stellar parameters alongside TESS photometric observations and radialvelocity (RV) measurements from the literature to refine planet properties (Jofré et al., in prep).
