Resumen:
The current attention in the obtaining of new materials to use in the optoelectonics world, take us to research in the properties of the nanoestructures semiconductor materials, and their multiples and unique optical and electrical properties. The ZnO is a semiconductor which can be nanostructured, and in this condition, present a lot of important characteristics that makes it a material to development optoelectronics devices, like ultraviolet LEDs due to the large band gap, and the high exciton energy. In this work we present the study of a p-i-n heterojunction made of n-tipe ZnO/MgO nanowires and a p-tipe conductive transparent polymer. Both materials are initially morphological, electrical and optically characterized, by SEM images, and by measurements of their conductivity and their photoluminescence. The ZnO nanowires are fabricated and then coated by MgO, to decrease the superficial defects energy levels. Two types of conductive polymers are analyzed to be employed in this device: Pdot:Pss and Pdot:Tos. Then we show the logic of the structure in the device fabrication to take of it a spectrum of electroluminescence when a bias is applied. Then, we obtain the Current-Voltage curve, which have a rectificante behavior, and then we made the successfully electroluminescence measurements, in the two devices with the two types of polymer, Finally we show a model to interpret the results obtained..
