Resumen:
Contributions to a preliminary evaluation of a metamorphic limes body at the Papachacra zone, Catamarca. A body of Totorillas Marbles is studied to define its preliminary economic properties. At Ojo de Agua gulch crops out a body of white (dominant) marble. Estimate tonnage is about 3.121.741 t , with 52,87% of CaO; 2,78% of SiO2; 0,5% of Al2O3 and 0,2% of Fe2O3. This marble is available as ornamental rock or materials for cement and/or lime industries, but more studies are needed.
