Resumen:
Several studies carried out in the system (epoxy-diamine)-(aluminum) 
have shown that the chemical, physical and mechanical properties of the 
coating materials differ from those of the bulk as a function of the 
coating thickness. In these works it is argued that such a behavior 
corresponds to the formation of a thick interphase between the 
substrate and the bulk material. In a work presented in this Conference, we experimentally demonstrated that coatings in this system do not 
develop a thick interphase between the substrate and the bulk material. 
The aim of this work is to provide a simple model to explain why the 
properties of the coatings in the system (epoxy-diamine)-(aluminum) 
change with the thickness.
