  The observed stellar rotation - Li abundance relation received  in the past literature only qualitative and incomplete  explanations. It is only with the recent work of Eggenberger  et al. (2012) that quantitative and a much more  complete approach on this subject has appeared. This model  relates not only rotation to the Li depletion, but also the  lifetime of a disk during the PMS stage of solar type stars.  In this work we exam the extension of the validity of this  model by measuring the Li abundances for a collection of solar  type stars of different ages with and without disks.
