South American Ways: migration and sex work in South America around the First World War

I will takethree cases of Russian, Romanian or Polish Jews (the most observed andassociated to sex trade by both police forces from the years previous to WorldWar I to the fore math World War II), who traveled between both countries andwere identified by the Argentinian and Brazilian authorities as pimps. Eachcase reveals specificities of different moments of police actions in period.
