Resumen:
The sawmill of the firm Nakabayashi Ernesto & Héctor is interested in reducing the area occupiedby the waste from processes, increasing the economic income and, in addition, they want reducingthe environmental impact caused by the wasted burning. First, the volume of waste generated wasevaluated. In second place, the chip offers and demand in the region was studied. Finally, differentinvestment scenarios were analyzed through Monte Carlo simulation. Different equipment,financing and different transport strategies were evaluated. The results were presented to the firmfor decision-making.
