Resumen:
Patagonian reptiles are recorded troughout the entire Mesozoic, and in different depocenters. The obvious biass in the fossil record can be attributed to many reasons, including the different geological history of the basins that have accumulated the fossiliferous strata. In spite of the fragmented record, it is still possible to divide the histoy of the Patagonian reptiles in many major intervals, taking into account both geological and biological events, such as continental ruptures and evolutionary diversifications or global/regional exctinctions. This section summarizes the information provided in the previous chapters and attemps to get a gloval view of the evolutionary history of the Patagonian Mesozoic reptiles.
