Resumen:
Our Galaxy hosts a variety of sources that produce shock waves, which modify the interstellar medium where they expand. Many of these sources are associated with the evolution of massive stars, from their early formation to their death as supernova. This work presents the main results of the observational study in different spectral bands of someof the effects related to expanding events created by massive stars,such as HII regions, stellar wind bubbles, and supernova remnants.Special attention is dedicated to the role of these astrophysical objects in the triggered star formation process.
