Resumen:
The production of polymeric complexes in many active drugs with reticulated povidone increased the dissolution rate. Complex formulation has been tested by X ray diffractometry and differential scanning calorimetry. The percentage of dissolution was determined acording to the USP XXIII Ed methodology. As can be seen the atenolol reticulated povidone complexes hacve a greater solubility than the atenolol mixed with lactose as an excipient.
