Resumen:
This paper points out the links between PropheticLiterature and the Exegesis of Biblical Prophetical Works focusing on ahitherto unedited exegetical Work of Basil of Neopatras, a 10th Centurybyzantine Bishop (the edition have been prepared by the author along with acolleague). Thus, te paper focuses on the Commentary of Daniel whereBasil stresses the ties between the Emperor and Christ, both acting as Co-Rulersof the Christian Empire. Finally, the paper also points to the possible linkswith the Works of both Aretas of Caesarea and Leo Choirosphaktes who opposedeach other on matters of theological Orthodoxy.
