Resumen:
ABSTRACT
We report the occurrence of six specimens of White Mullet Mugil curema Valenciennes, 1836 in the Mar Chiquita coastal lagoon. This is the southernmost record for the species in the western Atlantic and the first record from Argentinean waters. Morphometric and meristic characters of the six specimens are shown as well as comparative features with the Argentinean mullet, Mugil platanus Günther, 1880.
