Resumen:
The article summarizes the history of the relationship between football and television in Argentina, analyzing the plot between private initiatives and public policies, technological innovation and cultural traditions. It also points out what it understands to be the critical tension in the analysis of the case: the tension that oscillates between the logic of the commercial television (soccer as spectacular product) and the playful logic of sports events (the unpredictability of its development.)
